															Psychiatrist graduated in Medicine from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. Medical residency in Psychiatry at the Dr. Cândido Ferreira Health Service in Campinas, and Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with an emphasis on Autism and Early-Onset Schizophrenia at Ville Evrard Hospital in Paris, France. Guest lecturer for the Extension Course at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Unicamp, and Professor of Medical Cannabis Graduate Studies at Grupo Anima/Inspirali. Currently serving as the Coordinator of the Medical Cannabis Unit at Hospital Sírio Libanês in São Paulo, where he conducts outpatient consultations and leads research focused on the use of cannabinoids in Autism.
Dr. Barbosa is also a Founding Member and Treasurer of the Brazilian Medical Association of Endocannabinology (AMBCANN), Director of Medical Innovation at the National Association for the Inclusion of Autistic Individuals, and actively participates as a Member of the ECHO – Phelan McDermid Neuropsychiatry Consultation Group, affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
